Midnight At Mount Emily
Low Ying Ping
Illustrated by Chee Jia Yi
When Elena discovers that she might not actually be a Time Keeper, and is instead a Midnight Warrior, she suffers from a deep identity crisis. Together with her best friend Patsy Goh, she once again travels back in time to her mother’s teenage years, where she attempts to prevent her mother from meeting her father, in order to save them from a disastrous marriage. But can they really change the past?
"Author Ying Ping continues to build the characters and their relationships, injecting surprise elements into Midnight At Mount Emily that will keep her readers interested and engaged. There's a bit of everything in this book - mystery, action, drama with a sprinkle of romance. A time travel adventure that kids can really sink their reading teeth into!”
– Suzanne Jung, media consultant and former Channel NewsAsia news anchor and editor
“The third book in Low Ying Ping's Mt Emily series is yet another wonderful adventure as we are transported through a very much timeless adventure. The well pieced together plot is so incredibly creative and well written that it can and should be enjoyed by all ages. Seamlessly sewing the elements of a local Singapore book with that of a classic YA novel, I could barely put it down.
