Make Your World: A Journey of Creativity and Imagination

This product is sold out

Go on a journey of creativity with author and illustrators Quek Hong Shin and Anngee Neo as they show what you can do with a little imagination.

Singapore is home to millions, and it has been through many changes: tall buildings stand where huts once stood. Huge expressways run where there previously were none. But how did all this come about?

In this fun interactive story and art session, Hong Shin and Anngee will show how to let your imagination and creativity flow as you create your own country and turn it into a home for everybody!

What's Happening:

  • Kids will join the free guided tour of the City Gallery at URA Centre
  • Adjourn to the Huggs-Epigram Coffee Bookshop, where illustrator Anngee Neo will conduct art session on designing what your dream map of Singapore will be like. Will it have rocket pads? Will it have many more airports or train stations?
  • Author/illustrator Quek Hong Shin will conduct an interactive storytelling session on what it means to live in a neighbourhood community and how that came to be with his new book, The Brilliant Oil Lamp. Children can then design their own neighbourhood. What is it you’d like to see?
Suitable for kids from 5-10 years old.
